Position: Director of Project Management
I'm currently collaborating with one of the United States' foremost independent owners and operators in solar energy and energy storage. Established within a prominent global investment firm in 2017, our client has expanded significantly, now managing nearly 3 gigawatts of solar power across 850 projects spanning 27 states. In addition, we oversee over 270 megawatts of battery storage projects, each meticulously crafted to support the ambitious decarbonization goals. My client is currently looking for bring on a new Director of Project Management to take charge of assembling and guiding a fresh team dedicated to rebuilding the solar installations for peak power generation. This position plays a crucial role in the commitment to advancing sustainability and effectiveness via groundbreaking solar energy solutions.
The ideal candidate:
- 10+ years of experience as Project Manager within the renewable energy sector specifically utility-scaled solar projects
- Experience building a team from ground up
- Experience with the entire life cycle of the project from planning through execution and closeout
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
