Job Title: Electric Distribution Engineer (Kansas)
Summary:
My client, an electric and natural gas cooperative based out of Kansas, is looking for a engineer with electrical experience to join its distribution team. This utility company has been around for 80+ years and has a diverse energy portfolio focused on sustainable practices and meeting energy needs of the present and future. This client is ideally looking for an engineer who can work out of their Hays, KS office - but they are open to applicants located near Colby, Great Bend, Phillipsburg, and Scott City.
Responsibilities:
- Design, direct, and oversee the construction and operation of electric distribution facilities
- Provide support for Outage Management System
- Deliver engineering assistance for line and substation design and construction
Helpful Experience to Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering OR electrical engineering experience
- Experience in electric distribution system engineering (NOT required)
