Position Overview: My client is currently seeking an experienced Lead Field Engineer to take charge of their field operations. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in Crestron, BIAMP, and Cisco technologies, preferably gained through government projects. This role will involve a balanced split of travel to project sites, where the Lead Field Engineer will lead installation teams, oversee system integration, and ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage installation teams in the deployment of Crestron control systems, BIAMP audio systems, and Cisco networking equipment.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct comprehensive on-site surveys to assess project requirements and develop detailed implementation plans.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Take the lead in troubleshooting complex technical issues related to audiovisual and networking systems.
- Deliver comprehensive training sessions to end-users and provide ongoing technical support as needed.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of installations, configurations, and service records.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our service offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in audiovisual and networking systems integration.
- Proficiency in Crestron programming and configuration.
- Extensive experience with BIAMP audio systems setup and configuration.
- Deep understanding of Cisco networking technologies and best practices.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams in the execution of government projects.
- Familiarity with Multi-Class Systems and associated protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
