What You'll Do Day-to-Day:
- Optimize and Maintain Energy Storage Assets: Ensure the efficient and effective operation of energy storage projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams in engineering, procurement, and construction.
- Drive Design and Layout Optimization: Work on optimizing the layout and design of energy storage systems, ensuring that all projects meet technical specifications and are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide Technical Support & Due Diligence: Support multiple teams with technical input for contract negotiations, RFP submissions, and supplier specifications. Maintain a technical library to support due diligence on suppliers, and coordinate with internal teams to provide technical assistance for offtake agreements, performance testing, and operating conditions.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Work alongside development, origination, financing, and insurance teams, providing expert guidance and ensuring the technical success of projects across various stages from conception to execution.
Who We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
- Demonstrated experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) within the renewable energy industry.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Intellectual curiosity and a passion for optimizing energy storage systems in the context of renewable energy projects.
