Seeking a Project Director for Large Utility Scale Solar Projects (100 + MWs)
Our client is an established leader in the utility scale solar industry, with extensive experience designing and constructing large-scale projects across the USA. They are currently seeking a skilled project director to join their team on a permanent remote basis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- 10+ years of proven EPC experience within the utility scale solar sector
- Strong leadership skills with previous management-level roles as a project manager
- Experience overseeing construction schedules, budgets, contracts and managing stakeholder relationships
Skills
SOLAR - A thorough understanding of all aspects relating to Solar PV systems including but not limited to; electrical & mechanical components compatibility analysis, system performance optimization methods ,and O&M practices would be beneficial.
CONSTRUCTION - Proven success working collaboratively alongside Construction teams during various stages throughout multiple concurrent complex capital works programs/projects/contracts from planning through execution phases ensuring compliance with relevant standards
USA - Demonstrated ability interacting effectively at different levels within diverse cross functional organizations located geographically around United States while addressing business needs based upon sound judgment & decision-making processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Overseeing overall program/project activities related specifically towards achieving successful outcomes associated w/large-scale photovoltaic power plant designs/construction/installation/commissioning/successful operation via effective utilization/deployment strategies tailored according customer's specific operating philosophies
* Managing both internal staff members assigned designated tasks/milestones/goals along w/subcontractors/vendors/partners collaborating closely together until completion phase reached which meet/exceed quality standards set forth by company policy/procedures/guidelines/regulations governing same area(s)
* Coordinating/writing reports delineating progress made towards meeting deadlines/budgets outlined clients' objectives
