Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in environmental project management, with a strong background in coordinating and executing projects from inception to completion. A Professional Geologist (PG) license is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage environmental projects, including but not limited to site assessments, remediation, permitting, and compliance.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct fieldwork and site inspections as needed to support project requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other deliverables for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide strategic guidance and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in environmental project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred but not required.
