A renewable energy developer company is looking for a Project Finance Manager to join their team in Tokyo!
The company is active in the Japanese market with a portfolio of more than 600MW, and more in the pipeline for utility-scale solar and energy storage project development.
As a Project Finance Manager, you will be working closely with the team and senior managers to be responsible for negotiating and executing project financing and divestitures!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for negotiating and executing project financing and divestitures for projects, including leading the solicitation, negotiation, documentation, and closing of relevant financing structures, and for providing internal and external financial support, quantitative analysis, and sales collateral across self-developed projects, third-party bids, and acquisitions.
- Manage and own all aspects of assigned transactions, including due diligence, valuation, financial modeling, interfacing with and managing 3rd party financial firms, external advisors, and consultants.
- Lead the development of financial models and validation of applicable inputs
- Work with the asset management team, Apex, and the company to ensure correct reporting of project financial information
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across the PV industry
- Work with the Senior Manager, Project Finance to develop project financing strategies and goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of power, investment banking, or project finance experience
- Experience undertaking and managing deal structuring, contract negotiations, transaction due diligence, project rating, and capital raising
- Relevant industry experience in Power, Energy, or Infrastructure
- Fluent in business English and Japanese
