We are looking for an AV Project Manager that would come in as a Senior PM managing a remote team of technicians from our client's Dallas office. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and a team player with extensive knowledge on PRO AV project life cycle.
- Create detailed project plans, including equipment selection, system design, and budget estimates.
- Work with engineers and designers to develop technical specifications and system layouts.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and technicians to ensure timely delivery and installation.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project milestones.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of audio and visual equipment and system
- Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring they stay within predefined limits.
- Review and approve invoices and expenses related to the project.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns or changes in project scope.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed expectations.
- Create comprehensive documentation, including project reports, as-built drawings, and user manuals.
- Maintain records of equipment specifications, warranty information, and maintenance schedules.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations during project implementation.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect project personnel and equipment.
- Lead and mentor project teams, including technicians, installers, and subcontractors.
- Manage and delegate tasks to team members effectively.
- Proven experience in audiovisual project management, including system design, installation, and integration.
- Knowledge of audio and visual equipment, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet project deadlines.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
