WWTP Project Manager

The Project Manager plays a vital role in overseeing and managing construction projects. This position reports to a senior executive and is responsible for supervising team members. It is a full-time, salaried-exempt role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and adjust initial project budgets
  • Collaborate with operations leadership to refine budgets and schedules
  • Develop and maintain project schedules with regular updates
  • Coordinate construction methods with site supervisors to enhance performance
  • Procure major equipment and materials
  • Negotiate subcontractor agreements
  • Oversee submittals, shop drawings, and purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Manage contracts, insurance, compliance documentation, and bonds
  • Prepare and manage change orders and extra work proposals
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and job progress; conduct weekly reviews
  • Conduct site visits to assess supervision, progress, quality, and safety
  • Resolve disputes with vendors, subcontractors, and clients
  • Process payment requisitions
  • Mentor site supervisors and provide performance feedback
  • Communicate job performance and issues to senior leadership
  • Handle administrative communications and documentation
  • Ensure safety planning and compliance on job sites
  • Maintain a positive company image with stakeholders
  • Oversee multiple projects totaling $15M to $100M annually

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Preferred experience with project management and scheduling software
