Location: Bend, Oregon
Salary: $145,000 - $155,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid)
The Senior Healthcare Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for:
- Leading commissioning and retro-commissioning efforts for mechanical and plumbing systems in healthcare facilities
- Coordinating with owners, facility staff, contractors, and design teams to facilitate project delivery
- Conducting field investigations, functional performance testing, and issue resolution
- Overseeing project scopes, budgets, schedules, and documentation requirements
- Providing technical direction to internal project teams and supporting junior staff
- Maintaining and strengthening client relationships through clear communication and proactive problem solving
- Contributing to development of long-term strategies for healthcare commissioning work
The Senior Healthcare Commissioning Engineer should have the following:
- 8+ years of experience in commissioning, mechanical engineering, or healthcare facility engineering
- Strong understanding of mechanical/HVAC systems and basic plumbing systems
- Proven ability to manage technical projects and client relationships
- Experience with retro-commissioning, functional testing, or healthcare facility operations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills
- Ability to work independently in the field and manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline
- PE, CCP, BCxP, or similar credential
