A multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm delivering innovative solutions across civil, structural, geotechnical, and environmental projects is looking to bring on a Billing/Payroll Specialist in New York! They support complex infrastructure initiatives end-to-end-from planning and design through permitting, construction management, and inspection-serving both public and private sector clients. With deep expertise across transportation, energy, telecommunications, and water infrastructure, they play a critical role in advancing large-scale, high-impact projects. Backed by decades of experience and industry recognition, the firm is known for delivering practical, high-quality solutions that drive real-world impact.

Essential Functions

  • Perform high-volume data entry for project and billing information using Deltek Vision, Excel, and other systems
  • Coordinate with regional/corporate accounting teams and Project Managers to ensure accurate and timely billing
  • Support accounts receivable processes, including documentation, database updates, filing, reporting, and issue resolution
  • Assist with QA/QC to ensure accuracy and compliance of billing data
  • Provide general support to the accounts receivable team as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounts receivable or related experience; Deltek experience preferred
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems
  • Familiarity with ADP
  • Professional experience at an AEC firm preferred
