Location: Kansas (Greater Kansas City Area)
Job Summary
Lead mechanical construction projects HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related systems from planning through completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical construction projects from start to finish
- Direct field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve project goals
- Maintain compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and on-site execution
- Oversee project accounting, cost control, and profitability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
- Provide leadership and guidance to on-site teams
- Travel to project sites as needed
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or GED and one of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of mechanical trade experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years in mechanical construction project management
- Preferred: Experience in healthcare or large-scale commercial projects
Skills:
- Strong understanding of budgets, contracts, and compliance
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in scheduling and cost tracking
- Ability to travel regularly
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $95,000 - $150,000 annually
- Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement, and PTO
