Project Remediation Engineer
Job Summary
A respected environmental consulting firm is seeking a qualified Environmental Engineer to support and lead remediation projects. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on field experience and a strong understanding of environmental regulations and design.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support environmental remediation projects (sediment, shoreline, and upland).
- Conduct field investigations and sampling of soil, sediment, and groundwater.
- Prepare design plans, specifications, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide construction oversight and quality control during project execution.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or remediation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering.
- PE license in Washington State (or ability to obtain within 1 year).
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to obtain certifications such as HAZWOPER, CPR, or TWIC.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Washington State environmental regulations.
- Experience with contaminated site investigations and cleanup.
- Proficiency in CADD and Civil3D for environmental design work.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $90,000-$108,000 annually (based on experience)
- Bonuses: Quarterly performance-based

- Schedule: Flexible hours with hybrid work (2-3 days onsite)
- Travel: Occasional regional travel (expenses covered)
