Travelling Super- Cold Storage
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Travelling Superintendent to lead the on-site execution of complex food and beverage manufacturing facility projects across the United States. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional with deep expertise in industrial-grade food production environments, including process piping, clean rooms, refrigeration systems, and hygienic design standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with food safety construction standards (e.g., USDA, FDA, SQF).
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain schedule and budget.
- Lead daily site meetings, safety briefings, and quality inspections.
- Manage logistics for multi-phase projects across various states.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve field issues.
- Maintain detailed site documentation and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Superintendent in industrial/commercial construction.
- Proven track record in food & beverage manufacturing projects (dairies, bottling plants, bakeries, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and sanitary construction practices.
- Willingness to travel extensively (80-100%) across the U.S.
- OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety credentials preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
