A nationally respected employee-owned mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its Houston leadership team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys mentoring teams, and wants real influence over how major projects are delivered.
You'll play a key role leading large-scale mechanical projects across healthcare, mission-critical, commercial, and industrial sectors partnering closely with operations, preconstruction, and field leadership from start to finish.
What You'll Be Doing
- Overseeing the full lifecycle of large mechanical construction projects (planning through closeout)
- Managing project teams, including Project Managers, Engineers, and Superintendents
- Owning budgets, schedules, risk mitigation, and client relationships
- Driving proactive problem-solving and delivering predictable outcomes
- Collaborating with estimating and preconstruction on pursuits and transitions
- Helping shape best practices and develop future leaders within the business
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical construction project management
- Proven success delivering large, complex MEP projects in Texas or similar markets
- Strong financial acumen and schedule control experience
- Natural leadership style calm, collaborative, and decisive
- Background with self-perform mechanical scopes strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
