Job Description -

Our client is seeking a senior Environmental Seller‑Doer / Principal Consultant to expand environmental services across Florida. This position combines client development with hands‑on technical project leadership. The ideal candidate has a strong background in environmental permitting and natural resources work, along with experience developing and maintaining long‑term client relationships across multiple market sectors.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Build and expand client relationships across industrial, utility, commercial, oil & gas, and energy markets.
  • Drive revenue growth with targets of $300K-$500K in Year 1 and $500K+ in Year 2.
  • Lead environmental permitting (401/404), stream/wetland assessments, and agency coordination.
  • Oversee high‑visibility projects involving assessment, permitting, compliance, and documentation.
  • Prepare proposals, scopes, budgets, and high‑quality technical deliverables.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences, professional organizations, and client presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and support cross‑selling across environmental service lines.

Qualifications

Education & Experience -

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Ecology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • 15+ years of environmental consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of business development / seller‑doer experience.
  • Demonstrated success in revenue generation and long‑term client development.
  • Experience with environmental permitting (401/404) and regulatory coordination.
  • Experience conducting stream assessments, wetland evaluations, and natural resources fieldwork.
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulations including the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, NEPA, and related frameworks.
  • Exposure to Rosgen Natural Channel Design (Level I-IV).

Preferred -

  • Experience with HEC‑RAS modeling and FEMA CLOMAR/LOMAR submissions.
  • Professional certifications (PE, PG, CPG, PhD, or similar).
  • Existing relationships with Florida regulatory agencies or industry clients.
  • Experience supporting remediation, PFAS, ecological services, or land‑development permitting.

Compensation & Benefits -

  • Base Salary: $130,000 - $200,000 (dependent on experience and credentials)
