A well-established engineering firm with roots in the Pacific Northwest and Mountain States is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Modeling Engineer to join its Seattle-based team. This is a key leadership role focused on delivering innovative, sustainable water and wastewater solutions while contributing to a collaborative and community-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage hydraulic modeling efforts for water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
- Perform system analysis, scenario simulations, and model calibration using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to technical leadership across projects.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and regulatory documentation.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver practical, community-centered solutions.
- Stay current with modeling technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field).
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Washington State
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in hydraulic modeling and water infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in modeling software such as InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, SewerGEMS, or similar.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Local experience is a plus.

Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience, education, and technical expertise.
Range: $110,000 - $130,000 annually
