What You'll Be Doing
- Design and implement assessment programs and remedial strategies for effective site cleanup.
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of remediation systems, including soil vapor extraction and passive/active vapor intrusion mitigation systems.
- Manage fieldwork for environmental assessments, including scoping and coordination of projects.
- Develop and track project budgets, ensuring resources are optimized effectively.
- Create high-quality technical presentations, reports, and proposals with minimal oversight.
- Collaborate with senior staff, clients, and regulators to communicate project progress and outcomes.
- Perform statistical analysis and data visualization for environmental data insights.
- Mentor and help train junior technical staff as a leader within the team.
What You Bring
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is required; however, Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
- Strong skills in environmental remediation and regulatory compliance processes.
- Experience in fieldwork coordination and working with contractors, vendors, and laboratories.
- Ability to produce and oversee accurate QA/QC work products, maps, and reports.
- Proficiency with environmental data analysis tools and statistical methods.
- A collaborative approach to team projects with technical experts and multi-disciplinary teams.
Salary
$100,000 - $120,000 base DOE
