About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Environmental Principal to join our team. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned environmental professional with a strong background in consulting, project oversight, and client development. The Environmental Principal will serve as a technical expert, mentor, and strategic leader, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance across environmental projects.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
Experience:
- 12+ years of relevant experience with required professional certifications/licensure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and final review for environmental projects.
- Mentor junior and associate staff, fostering professional development.
- Oversee project budgets, proposals, and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and internal QA/QC standards.
- Lead client engagement and business development efforts.
- Manage and review environmental assessments (Phase I & II), remediation systems, and industrial hygiene projects.
- Participate in strategic planning, staffing decisions, and departmental meetings.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $140,000 - $190,000 annually, commensurate with experience, licensure, and leadership responsibilities
- Bonus Structure:
- Up to 35% performance-based bonus
