We're partnering with a well-established environmental consulting firm in Houston that's looking to bring on a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead and grow their remediation and compliance practice. This is a high-impact role with a strong mix of technical leadership, client engagement, and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead environmental remediation projects from investigation through design and implementation.
- Provide technical oversight on solid waste management, permitting, and compliance programs.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and contributing to strategic growth.
- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and regulatory documentation.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5-15 years of experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on remediation, solid waste, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and interface with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Strong understanding of federal and state environmental regulations (e.g., RCRA, CERCLA, TCEQ).
- Experience in business development or client-facing roles is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
- PE license preferred but not required.
