Position Overview
The organization is seeking a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to support and lead survey operations in its Canton, OH office. The role includes leading teams, managing projects, supporting business development, and driving the success of public‑ and private‑sector surveying initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the surveying and geomatics department, including oversight of field crews and technical staff.
- Manage survey and geomatics projects for clients across both public and private sectors.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
- Maintain communication with internal leadership and external partners to support project success.
- Plan, supervise, and mentor field crews, technicians, and support staff.
- Coordinate assignments, schedules, and priorities to meet project deadlines.
- Administer contracts and oversee accurate and timely delivery of project requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Professional Surveyor (PS) license in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar surveying or geomatics leadership role.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
