Position Overview
The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for establishing and leading the Company's Quality Control department. This is a strategic role focused on developing and implementing quality assurance protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement across all construction projects. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with deep experience in construction quality management and a passion for building scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the Quality Control department structure, processes, and KPIs.
- Develop and roll out company-wide quality standards and inspection protocols.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align quality initiatives with business goals.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Identify and resolve quality issues in collaboration with project managers and subcontractors.
- Train field staff and subcontractors on quality standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in multifamily construction quality control, preferably in general contracting.
- Proven track record of launching or scaling quality control initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and inspection tools.
