Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid - 3 days/week in office)
Salary: $110,000-$165,000 + Benefits
Travel: 10%-20% (local and occasional out-of-state travel)

A leading engineering and professional services firm is seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Baltimore-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to lead complex institutional projects and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Role Overview:
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing building systems and producing construction documentation for institutional projects in higher education, government, and healthcare sectors. This role offers the chance to lead project teams, engage with clients, and contribute to the growth of a high-performing engineering group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom, and security.
- Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
- Prepare detailed design documents using Revit.
- Perform QA/QC on design work and ensure code compliance.
- Lead project teams and coordinate with owners, architects, and other disciplines.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of electrical design experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and design guidelines.
- Experience with complex institutional projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- LEED experience or certification.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation.
- Experience with government or secure facilities.
- Ability to obtain or maintain a Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
