Structural Engineer
We have a current opportunity for a Structural Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Portland. For further information about this position please apply.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
3-7 years of relevant experience in structural design and analysis
Professional Engineer (PE) license or actively pursuing licensure (EIT)
Familiarity with U.S. building codes and design standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, ASCE, IBC)
Experience preparing construction documents and engineering reports
Working knowledge of structural systems (concrete, steel, wood, masonry)
Ability to coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
Some experience with construction administration or field inspections preferred
Skills:
Proficient in structural software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, RAM, RISA)
Skilled in AutoCAD and Revit; BIM experience preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing abilities
Ability to manage tasks across multiple projects and meet deadlines
Familiar with construction methods, materials, and documentation workflows
Effective communicator and team collaborator
Experience with tools like Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
