Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports the planning, design, and execution of land development projects including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The APM works closely with project managers, engineers, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with local codes and standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing land development projects from concept through construction.
  • Support preparation of civil engineering plans including grading, drainage, utility layouts, and site design.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and permitting agencies.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Conduct site visits and assist in construction administration tasks.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, permit applications, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with zoning regulations, environmental requirements, and municipal codes.
  • Attend project meetings and assist in client presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in land development or civil/site design.
  • EIT certification preferred; PE license a plus.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment.
