Water/Wastewater Project Manager
Seeking an experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in delivering municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater projects-from initial marketing and project development through design and commissioning. This role involves direct client engagement, oversight of project design, and management of engineering budgets exceeding six figures.
Ideal candidates will have a strong technical foundation and demonstrated ability to identify new project opportunities, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with sub-consultants. Excellent interpersonal, client management, and time management skills are essential.
Location: Remote arrangements may be considered-particularly for those with an existing client base. Part-time employment may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead water/wastewater projects for municipal and industrial clients
- Interface directly with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Manage scopes, budgets, schedules, and QA/QC processes
- Conduct marketing efforts including proposal writing and conference participation
- Supervise and mentor engineering staff
- Travel to client sites (up to six times per year)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering (or equivalent)
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD tools (Civil 3D, Plant 3D, Revit) preferred
- Experience with hydraulic and process design software (e.g., BioWin, WaterCAD, Bentley Flowmaster) preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage teams and sub-consultants
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Competitive base salary starting at $130,000+, depending on experience
