Overview:
A nationally recognized consulting firm is seeking a visionary Practice Builder to lead and expand its Water/Wastewater practice in the San Diego region. This leadership role is ideal for a senior professional with deep technical expertise, strong client relationships, and a track record of building successful teams and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and grow a regional water/wastewater practice focused on infrastructure planning, design, and construction.
- Lead business development efforts with public agencies, utilities, and private clients across Southern California.
- Oversee the delivery of high-impact projects such as water treatment plants, wastewater facilities, pump stations, and pipeline systems.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of engineers and technical staff.
- Collaborate with other regional and national leaders to align strategy and share resources.
- Ensure project profitability, quality, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
- California Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- 15+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, including project and team leadership.
- Proven success in client development and strategic growth.
- Strong knowledge of San Diego and Southern California water/wastewater market.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
