Architectural Designer
My client based in Concord, New Hampshire, is seeking a Design Professional with 2-4 years of experience to join their growing team. With a portfolio focused on custom residential and institutional projects, this is an excellent opportunity for an emerging architect or designer who is eager to take on meaningful responsibilities, contribute creatively, and continue developing their technical and professional skills within a collaborative environment.
This role offers the chance to work closely with experienced architects through all phases of design and construction, gaining exposure to both custom residential and small institutional projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with architectural projects through various phases of design, documentation, and construction administration
- Develop project drawings, models, and presentations using Revit
- Collaborate with senior architects and project managers on design concepts and technical solutions
- Participate in the preparation of construction documents and project deliverables
- Contribute ideas throughout the design process and help solve project challenges creatively
- Support project coordination and documentation efforts while continuing to build technical expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Approximately 2-4 years of professional architectural experience
- Proficiency in Revit required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Experience with Enscape, Lumion, architectural detailing, specifications, and construction documents is beneficial
- Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
- Ability to think critically, solve problems independently, and contribute beyond drafting tasks
- Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn
- Interest in design, wood-frame construction, custom residential architecture, and institutional projects
