Are you passionate about land surveying and ready to grow your career with a respected California-based firm? Our Northern California client is seeking a motivated Assistant Land Surveyor to support our dynamic team across multiple office locations.
What You'll Do
As an Assistant Land Surveyor, you'll work under the guidance of a licensed Land Surveyor to contribute to a variety of surveying projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
- Drafting plats, legal descriptions, and lot merger documents
- Creating topographic and subdivision maps
- Producing records of survey and corner records
- Downloading and processing field survey data and DXF files
- Preparing cut sheets and other deliverables
What They're Looking For
Ideal candidates will have:
- A solid understanding of surveying principles
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
- A Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field
- California LSIT certification (strongly preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
