About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Coordination
- Assist senior project leadership with planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale energy construction projects.
- Support development-phase activities including engineering coordination, procurement planning, construction readiness, and commissioning preparation.
- Work with internal engineering, procurement, and project teams to track deliverables and maintain project schedules.
- Help ensure projects meet safety, quality, budget, and schedule objectives.
- Coordinate activities with contractors, vendors, consultants, regulators, and local stakeholders.
- Support permitting requirements, owner obligations, project documentation, and construction administration processes.
- Assist with staffing, onboarding, and coordination of site-based project personnel.
Procurement & Contract Administration
- Support the administration of EPC contracts and major equipment supply agreements.
- Assist with sourcing strategies and procurement activities to help optimize cost, schedule, and project performance.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to procurement procedures and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with commercial teams throughout contract execution and change management processes.
Cost Control & Project Oversight
- Participate in project reporting and progress tracking for leadership and stakeholders.
- Assist in identifying project risks and supporting mitigation strategies.
- Help manage budget controls, forecasting, cost reporting, and change-order reviews.
- Support resolution of construction and execution challenges in a fast-paced project environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 5-10 years of experience supporting large construction, infrastructure, power generation, transmission, renewable energy, or industrial projects.
- Demonstrated experience working within EPC project environments.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to perform effectively within complex, schedule-driven projects.
- Working knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, and project controls practices.
Travel
Preferred Background
- Utility-scale power, renewable energy, transmission, or industrial infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting multi-million or billion-dollar capital programs.
- Exposure to contract management, procurement, and project controls functions.
