Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and engage senior-level decision makers within target organizations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with large corporate and enterprise customers.
- Deliver compelling presentations and communicate complex energy solutions to executive stakeholders.
- Assess customer business goals, energy requirements, and risk management objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored energy procurement and hedging strategies.
- Create strategic energy plans and business proposals for prospective clients.
- Lead sales negotiations and successfully close new business opportunities.
- Travel as required to support customer meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
- Participate in team meetings, training programs, and other in-person business functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in sales or business development.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to build relationships and develop a strong professional network within the business community.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated success in consultative or solution-based selling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in business-to-business energy sales.
- Knowledge of electricity, natural gas, renewable energy, demand response, energy efficiency, or related commodity markets.
- Experience selling to large commercial, industrial, or Fortune 1000 customers.
- Understanding of energy procurement, risk management, and hedging strategies.
