The Role
A project-facing civil engineering position with meaningful ownership across planning, design, and construction phases. You'll work with a high degree of autonomy, lead coordination across internal teams and external agencies, and contribute to a broad portfolio of land development projects. Responsibilities
- Prepare construction plans, feasibility reports, cost estimates, drainage reports, and project documents with minimal supervision
- Develop grading plans, road design, profiles, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Perform detailed calculations for stormwater facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements
- Coordinate with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permitting
- Prepare site development plans across residential, commercial, industrial, mixed-use, and master planned community projects
- Manage project timelines, budgets, billing reports, and contract tracking
- Collaborate with drafters, designers, and administrative staff to keep projects on schedule and on budget
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- PE license required (ability to obtain additional state licensure a plus)
- 5+ years of civil engineering experience within an engineering or construction firm
- 5+ years of site development design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D including grading tools, alignments, profiles, corridors, and surfaces
- Strong project management and client relationship skills
- Comfortable operating as both a hands-on technical contributor and a team coordinator
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Washington State permitting and design standards
- Experience across a variety of project scales from small infill sites to large master planned developments
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across multiple active projects

Compensation
- $85,000 to $125,000 depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus and licensure bonuses
