Construction Oversight Architect
The Construction Administrator plays a key role in supporting the Project Manager to ensure smooth project execution. This position focuses on verifying that construction aligns with design specifications by reviewing plans, monitoring site activities, and documenting progress to uphold the project's design integrity.
Job Responsibilities
- Respond to RFIs and coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors.
- Review submittals and ensure compliance with design documents, draft construction change directives and review deferred submittals.
- Attend and document weekly construction meetings.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.
- Prepare field reports and identify issues needing correction.
- Review and respond to change orders and cost proposals.
- Approve payment applications and manage punch lists.
- Ensure all closeout documentation is complete and accurate.
Requirements
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
- Familiarity with project management platforms (e.g., Procore, Unifier, Primavera).
- Excellent communication skills for team coordination.
- Ability to lead junior staff and take direction from senior team members.
