Controls Engineer
Role Overview
As a Controls Engineer, you'll be responsible for crafting, refining, and sustaining automated control systems. This position involves evaluating system performance, implementing engineering solutions, and managing technical projects to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities

Spearhead the creation and upkeep of control system architectures
Perform in-depth diagnostics and resolve system-related challenges
Partner with multidisciplinary teams to drive project success
Mentor and advise less experienced engineering staff
Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality across work duties and meetings
Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment
Qualifications
Education Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related discipline. Specialization in control systems is highly desirable.
Experience At least three years of hands-on engineering experience, ideally within a production or industrial setting.
Core Competencies
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organizational habits and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks, make informed decisions quickly, and manage time effectively
Competence in interpreting wiring diagrams and generating I/O documentation
Preferred
Proven track record in designing and maintaining control systems
Skilled in control software programming and analytical tools
Understanding of relevant electrical and safety standards, including UL508A, NFPA 79, NEC, and IEC
Physical & Travel Requirements
Must be able to walk, crouch, and stand for extended periods while inspecting or repairing equipment
Capable of using basic tools and diagnostic instruments
Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%)
