A leading firm in the mission-critical industry is seeking a Deputy Strategic Initiatives Officer (SIO) to help transform strategic vision into high-impact programs. This senior leadership role partners directly with the Strategic Initiatives Officer and CEO to drive growth, strengthen market position, and ensure flawless execution of complex initiatives.
We're looking for a strategic leader with deep expertise in liquid cooling, high-density workloads, and commissioning operations, along with a proven ability to turn strategy into measurable results.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Market Intelligence
- Maintain a pipeline of multi-year strategic projects and alliances
- Analyze trends in AI, modular construction, and sustainability
- Support M&A evaluations and strategic roadmap updates
Program Strategy & Governance
- Track timelines, milestones, and initiative status
- Support PMO activities and cross-functional steering reviews
- Document lessons learned and best practices
Operational Scale-Up
- Codify playbooks for new service offerings
- Coordinate training and monitor delivery performance
Elite Team Liaison (QRF)
- Manage Quick Reaction Force readiness and incident debriefs
External Voice & Business Development
- Serve as secondary executive contact for key accounts
- Support major deal pursuits and thought-leadership efforts
- Coordinate conference participation and whitepaper development
✅ Ideal Candidate Profile
- 13+ years in mission-critical environments (Cx, design-build, or owner/operator)
- Proven P&L accountability for programs exceeding $50M
- Expertise in liquid cooling, high-density workloads, and commissioning
- Advanced knowledge of strategic planning, market dynamics, and tech integration
- Strong program management and executive relationship-building skills
- Exceptional communication, financial modeling, and cross-functional leadership
🎓 Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, business, or related field
(Two additional years of experience may substitute for degree)

- 30%-50% domestic travel across the U.S.
