Director of Biological Resources
- Lead and manage the Biological Resources team, including staffing, mentoring, professional development, and performance management.
- Oversee project execution to ensure high-quality technical deliverables, client satisfaction, and financial performance.
- Serve as a senior technical resource for biological studies, permitting, compliance, and environmental review efforts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, agencies, and industry partners while driving new business opportunities.
- Prepare and review proposals, statements of qualifications, budgets, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Participate in company leadership discussions and contribute to long-term strategic planning.
- Strong background in biological resources, natural resources, permitting, CEQA/NEPA compliance, and environmental consulting.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary projects, managing clients, and supporting business development efforts.
- Demonstrated success mentoring and leading technical staff and project teams.
- Knowledge of California environmental regulations, agency coordination, and natural resource management.
- Ability to function as a trusted advisor to clients while helping grow and strengthen a biological resources practice.
