Director of Development
A leading energy infrastructure developer is seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of utility-scale power generation and carbon capture projects across the U.S.
- Manage projects from site selection through permitting, financing, and execution
- Negotiate land, development, and commercial agreements
- Coordinate permitting, stakeholder engagement, and community outreach
- Manage consultants and collaborate with internal teams across engineering, finance, legal, and commercial functions
- Support project financing, due diligence, and financial close activities
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and development milestones
- Proven experience developing large-scale energy or infrastructure projects through financial close
- Strong knowledge of U.S. power markets, ISOs/RTOs, and project economics
- Experience with financial modeling, real estate matters, and stakeholder management
- Bachelor's degree required
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Ability to travel as needed
