A growing Indianapolis-based builder, developer, and construction organization is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead large-scale senior living and healthcare construction projects throughout the region.
This role is ideal for a field leader who thrives on managing complex projects, maintaining high-quality standards, developing strong teams, and delivering exceptional experiences for ownership groups and project stakeholders.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Lead all field operations from groundbreaking through occupancy and project closeout
- Manage site safety, quality control, scheduling, logistics, and subcontractor coordination
- Direct daily activities of field staff, trade partners, consultants, and inspectors
- Drive milestone completion while maintaining budget and schedule expectations
- Conduct progress meetings and provide regular updates to project leadership
- Resolve field challenges proactively to minimize impacts on production and client satisfaction
- Mentor Assistant Superintendents, Project Engineers, and emerging field leaders
- Ensure projects are delivered with a strong focus on craftsmanship, resident experience, and operational functionality
Preferred Experience
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience
- 5+ years as a Lead Superintendent or Senior Superintendent
- Experience managing projects in the $20M-$80M+ range
- Strong background in senior living, healthcare, multifamily, hospitality, or other highly coordinated commercial project environments
- Knowledge of scheduling software, construction technology, and field management systems
- Proven success leading large project teams and delivering complex developments on time and within budget

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary targeting $140,000 - $185,000+, depending on experience
