Electrical Engineer - SCADA/Renewables

We have an exciting opening for an electrical engineer in our growing office in the Greater DFW area (opportunity to work a flexible hybrid schedule).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for renewable energy and power infrastructure projects.
- Implement and optimize HMI interfaces and SCADA systems for monitoring and control.
- Lead and support system integration efforts, ensuring seamless connectivity between hardware, software, and control systems.
- Develop scripts and automation tools using Python to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field/years of experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in electrical engineering within energy or industrial automation sectors.
- Hands-on experience with HMI design, SCADA infrastructure, and system integration.
- Previous experience in Python programming a plus.
- Familiarity with Ignition platform is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
