The Fire Protection Engineer will be responsible for...
- Designing fire protection systems for a variety of building types, including commercial, residential, institutional, and mixed-use projects
- Supporting plumbing system design efforts, including domestic water, sanitary, storm, and natural gas systems
- Preparing engineering calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents
- Coordinating with mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural teams throughout all project phases
- Conducting site visits, field surveys, and construction administration activities as needed
- Assisting project managers with technical coordination, client communication, and project delivery
The Fire Protection Engineer should have the following...
- 4 to 8 years of experience in fire protection engineering, with some exposure to plumbing system design
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Experience designing sprinkler, standpipe, fire pump, and life safety systems for buildings
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and industry-standard engineering software
- EIT certification preferred with interest in pursuing PE licensure considered a plus
