Forensic Accountant
An established, mid-sized accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Forensic Accountant with 1-3 years of relevant experience to join its growing Forensic & Valuation Services practice. This team operates across New Jersey and Florida and is known for being highly collaborative, close-knit, and hands-on.
This role is based in New Jersey and offers the opportunity to work directly under a New Jersey-based Manager who specializes in forensic accounting. The position is well suited to an early-career professional looking to deepen their forensic skill set while gaining meaningful client exposure.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting forensic accounting and litigation support engagements across a range of matters
- Assisting with financial investigations, analyses, and written reports
- Working closely with a forensic-focused Manager on active cases, with consistent mentorship
- Being client facing and participating in meetings and discussions
- Attending and representing the firm at local networking and professional events throughout New Jersey
- Collaborating with colleagues across both the NJ and FL teams on shared engagements
What they're looking for:
- 1-3 years of experience in forensic accounting, litigation support, or related advisory work
- CPA, or progress toward CPA, strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Interest in client interaction and business development exposure
- A collaborative mindset and comfort working within a close-knit team
- Willingness to attend in-person meetings and local networking events
