General Manager of Engineering for Onshore Wind
Position Summary *This role will be base in Japan
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering strategy and technical governance for onshore wind projects across Japan.
- Oversee design optimization, technical due diligence, EPC interfaces, and project execution.
- Manage external engineering consultants, contractors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Japanese regulations, HSE standards, grid requirements, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Renewable Energy, or related disciplines).
- Extensive experience in wind energy engineering, project development, EPC, or asset management.
- Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of Japanese permitting, grid connection, and construction practices.
