Regional Engineering Manager (Remote) - Ground Improvement, Foundations & SOE
Location: Remote (Florida)
Salary: $145,000 - $160,000 + Bonus
LVI Associates is partnered with a rapidly growing specialty geotechnical contractor expanding throughout the East Coast. This organization is recognized for delivering innovative solutions across deep foundations, ground improvement, support of excavation (SOE), and complex geotechnical construction projects.
As part of continued growth, they are seeking a Regional Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for preconstruction support, design delivery, value engineering, and technical oversight across multiple states.
This is an opportunity for an experienced geotechnical professional to step into a highly visible leadership role, influencing both technical strategy and the development of a growing engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the regional engineering team's workload and project priorities.
- Oversee the design and review of support of excavation, ground improvement, foundation, and specialty geotechnical systems.
- Collaborate closely with estimating teams during preconstruction to develop cost-effective and technically sound solutions.
- Drive value engineering initiatives and provide technical input on constructability and feasibility.
- Review engineering calculations, reports, drawings, and design packages.
- Coordinate final design deliverables with internal stakeholders and external consultants.
- Partner with operations, business development, and project teams to support successful project execution.
- Mentor and develop engineers while helping scale a growing regional design team.
- Participate in site visits and field observations as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 7+ years of experience in geotechnical design, support of excavation, ground improvement, or foundation engineering.
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering principles.
- Proven experience managing engineering teams and overseeing technical project delivery.
- Strong communication, leadership, and technical writing skills.
- Master's degree preferred.
