Role Overview

An established international developer and infrastructure owner is seeking an IT Manager to support the technology strategy and operations of its growing data centre business. This role will focus on IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, operational technology (OT), compliance, and vendor management, while partnering closely with regional stakeholders to ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and reliable technology solutions across mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead IT and OT infrastructure implementation across data centre projects.
  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of critical technology environments.
  • Drive cybersecurity initiatives, risk management, and incident response planning.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security frameworks.
  • Manage technology vendors, contracts, and service delivery performance.
  • Support budgeting, resource planning, and technology investment decisions.
  • Identify and implement technology improvements and innovation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support business growth.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience within data centres, digital infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise IT environments.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and operational technology.
  • Experience delivering large-scale technology projects and managing vendors.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in mission-critical environments is highly advantageous.
  • Fluent in both Cantonese and English.
  • Suitable for candidates currently operating as a Senior IT Manager, Associate Director, or second-in-command to an IT Head.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCIE, or ITIL would be beneficial.
