HVAC Controls Estimator (Mission Critical)
We're partnered with a rapidly growing Building Automation Systems integrator that has built a strong reputation delivering complex controls projects across mission-critical environments. Due to continued growth and a significant project backlog, they are looking to add a Lead BAS Estimator to their team.
This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced HVAC Controls or Building Automation Estimator who enjoys working on technically challenging projects and wants to play a key role in supporting some of the most advanced data center projects in the country.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for Building Automation and HVAC Controls projects
- Review plans, specifications, sequences of operation, and project requirements
- Develop labor, material, subcontractor, and equipment cost estimates
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to develop winning proposals
- Support bid strategy and project pursuit efforts
- Participate in scope reviews, value engineering discussions, and risk assessments
- Evaluate project documentation and identify opportunities or potential challenges before award
- Serve as a technical resource throughout the preconstruction process
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of Building Automation, DDC, or HVAC Controls estimating experience
- Proven ability to estimate BAS projects from concept through proposal submission
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls architecture, field devices, networking, and integration
- Experience reviewing mechanical and controls drawings, specifications, and sequences
- Familiarity with platforms such as Niagara, Distech, Siemens, Schneider, ALC, Honeywell, Delta Controls, or similar
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

- Data center experience
- Mission-critical facility experience
- Experience supporting large-scale, complex construction projects
- Design-build and plan/spec project background
