HVAC Controls Technician
Our client is seeking an HVAC Controls Specialist to join a growing Building Automation team supporting customers throughout the Greater Boston area.
This is a field-based position involving a mix of service and project work across schools, universities, healthcare facilities, and municipal buildings. The successful candidate will work on commissioning, troubleshooting, startup, and optimization of Building Automation Systems while partnering closely with customers and internal project teams.

Responsibilities
- Commission, troubleshoot, and optimize Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Perform preventative maintenance and service work on HVAC controls systems
- Support project startups, point-to-point checkout, and functional testing
- Diagnose and resolve controls and equipment issues
- Modify controller programming and graphics as required
- Work directly with facility personnel and customers
- Complete documentation and service reporting
- Travel locally throughout Greater Boston
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Building Automation, BAS, BMS, or HVAC Controls experience
- Experience troubleshooting controls systems and HVAC equipment
- Understanding of DDC systems and sequences of operation
- Ability to read controls drawings and technical documentation
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Tridium Niagara experience preferred but not required
