About the Opportunity
A leading commercial HVAC and mechanical services contractor is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join its growing service team in the Atlanta area. This role focuses on servicing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC systems across a diverse portfolio of clients, including office buildings, healthcare facilities, industrial sites, educational institutions, and other commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial HVAC equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, chillers, boilers, heat pumps, and associated controls.
- Respond to service calls and emergency repairs in a timely and professional manner.
- Inspect equipment, identify issues, and provide recommendations for repairs or system improvements.
- Complete service reports, work orders, and documentation accurately.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and project status.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Assist with startup, commissioning, and operational testing of HVAC systems when required.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism on-site.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician working on commercial systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience servicing RTUs, split systems, package units, chillers, and boilers.
- EPA Certification required.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles, refrigeration cycles, and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively.
