Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) | Suwanee, GA
A growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and delivery of HVAC systems for government, healthcare, and water/wastewater projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to gain exposure to project design, construction administration, and multidisciplinary building systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems for a variety of building projects
- Assist with plumbing and fire protection system coordination
- Develop technical reports, narratives, and design documentation
- Create and modify engineering drawings using Revit
- Support construction administration activities, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and site visits
- Coordinate with project teams and clients throughout project delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- EIT certification preferred
- 2+ years of mechanical design experience
- Experience with HVAC system design
- Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
Location: Suwanee, GA
Schedule: Full-time | Hybrid opportunity available following initial training period
