What You'll Be Doing
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for a variety of commercial, institutional, healthcare, and educational facilities
- Collaborate with project teams to determine design criteria, equipment selection, system layouts, and engineering solutions
- Perform load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection
- Prepare engineering drawings and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
- Coordinate designs with architects, owners, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
- Present design solutions and recommend system alternatives to clients
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
- Incorporate innovative and sustainable engineering solutions into project designs
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience within the consulting engineering industry
- Strong HVAC and plumbing design experience
- Experience performing load calculations, duct design, and equipment selection
- Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
- Healthcare and/or educational project experience is highly preferred
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
