The Role: As an Estimator, you'll play a crucial part in supporting our estimating team to deliver accurate, competitive, and profitable bids for a variety of construction projects. Working closely with senior estimators and project managers, you'll be responsible for:
- Analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Conducting site visits to gather data on access, drainage, and topography.
- Assisting in preparing bids, selecting vendors and subcontractors, and coordinating with the project management team.
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Documenting all findings and presenting cost estimates to management.
- Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in cost estimation.
What We're Looking For:
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
